From September 13th to 14th, 2023, the British project leader of the 13th Five-Year National Key R&D International Cooperation Project - Sino-British Smart Farm Agricultural Robot R&D Project, Claire Lealey Hodge, senior executive of Agri-EPI Centre for Agricultural Technology in the UK, and Tatiana Elena Boyle, executive officer of content and dissemination, came to the Information Technology Research Center and Intelligent Equipment Research Center, Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences to visit. 

On the 13th, the Chinese team listened to the progress of implementation and R&D results reported by Claire, the British representative, Ms. Claire carried out the current agricultural research and transformation projects of the management company, and Mr. Tom, the technical executive, made an introduction of the current status of intelligent agriculture research in the UK. The researchers of the NERCITA and NERCIEA exchanged views on related issues.

After the meeting, the guests visited the Center's Agricultural Information Technology and Intelligent Equipment Technology Exhibition Hall, Agricultural Robotics Laboratory and Xiaotangshan National Experiement Station for Presecision Agriculture.

Through the exchanges, both parties had an in-depth exchange on the focus and key issues of R&D on smart farms, laying a foundation for further technical cooperation.
