From October 16 to 21, 2025, a delegation of international experts was invited to the Center for exchange and visits. The delegation included Professor Andrew Hewitt, Director of the Centre for Application and Safety at the University of Queensland, Australia; Professor Noguchi Ryozo, Secretary-General of the Japanese Society of Agricultural Machinery and Director of the Department of Regional Environmental Engineering at Kyoto University; Associate Professor Nazmi Mat Nawi, Director of the Smart Agriculture Technology Research Centre at Universiti Putra Malaysia; and Associate Professor Steve Li from Auburn University, USA.
The experts visited the Agricultural Information and Intelligent Equipment Technology Exhibition Hall and the Agricultural Aviation Wind Tunnel Laboratory at the Xiaotangshan Base. They were briefed on the Center's achievements in key areas such as aerial precision application, intelligent operations of agricultural drones, and smart monitoring and early warning systems for pests and diseases.
Professor Andrew Hewitt, Dr. Nazmi Mat Nawi, and Dr. Steve Li delivered presentations titled "Crop Protection Application Systems," "Status of Agricultural Aviation and Smart Agriculture Development in Malaysia," and "Spray Drone Applications in American Agriculture: Opportunities and Challenges," respectively. Following the presentations, they engaged in technical discussions with the Center's researchers.
