 Field of Study

Major field is agricultural machinery. The study on fertilizer placement for zero till corn in two crops one year area solves the problem of adding fertilizer for farmers. The designed zero till corn seeders were widely used in north China. The techniques of minimum tillage and zero tillage which were completed in Hebei Dryland Project have been adopted by a lot of farmers in dryland areas. The spray application technique was conducted in recent years. The technique of spraying herbicide in different height stubble environments reduced the runoff of herbicide, and it also protect environment from pollution of chemicals. Several studies on tillage and water saving are conducted as a research scientist at now.
Participated the greenhouse irrigation program which is a China-Canada joint program for dry land project in Gansu province. I help the local farmers set up the drip irrigation system. This kind of system has got very good profit in recent years.
Being program leaders of several precision agriculture programs. These programs are all from State High Technique Program Office.
