Visiting NERCITA

■    From May 25th to Jun. 5th,2008， the Chinese delegation composed of Mrs. Wang Li, vice president of Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, Prof. Wang Jihua, deputy director of National Engineering Research Center for Information Technology in Agriculture（NERCITA）, Dr. Yang Xinting, department-head of NERCITA had visited Spain, Portugal and Greece at the invitation of Universidad de Almeria of Spain, European College Bovine Health and Management in Portugal and Agricultural University of Athens.

■   From Dec.1st to Dec. 11th, 2007, at the invitation of director-general Ayman El-Dessouki from Egypt National Authority of Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, Dr. Li Cunjun from the Remote Sensing Dept. of NERCITA went to Egypt for international cooperation.

■   At the invitation of ICASA and Chiang Mai University, Dr.Huang Wenjiang went to Thailand to participate in the training program DSSAT (Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer).

■   Dr. Song Xiaoyu participated in the symposium on Remote Sensing for Agriculture, Ecosystems, and Hydrology SPIE2007 in Italy from Sept. 17th to 21st, 2007.

■   Dr. Huang Wenqian participated in “The 2nd Asia Precision Agriculture Symposium”in Korea from Aug.1st to 6th, 2007.
