Visiting NERCITA

■   On May 9th, 2008, nearly 15 students in Oklahoma State University visit NERCITA. They watched the demonstration of the products model, including intelligent control system for greenhouse, automatic water-saving irrigation system and precision pesticide applicator.

■   On July 5th, 2008, Prof. Wang Ju’an, Professor in Southern Polytechnic State University, visits NERCITA to give an academic report on the research and development of information technology.

■   On April 18, 2008, experts in “China-EU Collaboration on ICT Application for Rural Development” visit NERCITA.

■   On Feb. 18th, 2008, experts in California Agricultural Leadership Program visited National Experimental Station for Precision Agriculture.

■   On Dec. 19th, 2007, Dr. Li Changying, Assistant Professor of Biological and Agricultural Engineering of University of Georgia went to NERITA to have an academic exchange. He delivered a speech of Sensor Fusion Models to Integrate the Electronic Nose and zNose For Apple Defect Detection.

■   On Nov.30，2007，Malaysia Pan-Northern Air Services Sdn. Bhd. Delegation visited NERCITA for academic exchange. The Malaysia delegation are very interested in such products as water-saving irrigation system, intelligent control system in greenhouse and X—Ray fluorescence spectrometer and they are willing to strengthen cooperation with NERCITA.

■   On Oct. 30th, 2007, Sayed Arafat, the secretariat of NARSS (National Authority of Remote Sensing and Space Sciences of Egypt), visited NERCITA and the National Experimental Station for Precision Agriculture with his three colleagues.
